Let's talk about mini album “Growing Joy – Tập Yêu Đời”
This personal project is dedicated to Đen Vâu rapper whose optimistic mindset through the darkest time of life. The album combines 4 separate songs having the same life’s attitude to connect one journey of main character by title of songs.
“Let me wander, under the sun’s path, cooking for little ones with love and embracing life with joy”
Visual Direction
The concept chosen as ‘‘Keep moving forward, after all, for all of us, life will start making sense”
Some Easter eggs were planted throughout the design to reflect the album title, “Growing Joy”.
Elements like graph paper, commonly used by students for writing practice, symbolize learning and growth. Wall painting patterns and doodle elements represent the inner child of the main character - Đen, adding a playful and nostalgic touch. Hidden words such as “Exercise” and “Certificate” further reinforce themes of education and self-improvement. The Tangerine typeface was chosen for its simple, handwritten style, making it a perfect fit for chalkboard quotes and teaching materials, seamlessly blending into the album’s concept.

The promotional design aligns with the album concept “Growing Joy”. The combination of real images and doodles reflects the connection between reality and the inner child. The graph paper background, handwritten typography, and bright colors evoke nostalgia and positivity, reinforcing the album’s uplifting message.
